Maps are where you fight against other robots in Robocraft. There are currently three planets with maps in the game: Mars, GJ 1214b and Earth.

Maps[edit | edit source]

Earth[edit | edit source]

Earth is hilly and mountainous with flat grassy plains. It is rumoured that badgers still exist on the surface.

  • Birmingham Power Station: An abandoned power station with overgrown grass and nice sniping points, but is made to encourage close combat. It's made to draw players to the center for big fights. It is currently the only map for Team Deathmatch.
  • Vanguard's End: The crash site of a galactic starship called the ESS Vanguard. The ESS Vanguard lost control during it's final approach to Cosford Military Astrology, due to protonium reactor failure.

Mars[edit | edit source]

Mars is a rocky, dynamic landscape with many steep valleys and lots of crowded hills. Good for stealthy play.

  • Tihonium Canyon (A canyon with a bridge over a gap in the center)
  • Hellion Impact Crater (As the name says, its a depression in the center and a raised area toward the outer edges)
  • Tharsis Rift (A deep hole and weird rocks litter one side while the other contains mountains and hills)

GJ 1214b[edit | edit source]

GJ 1214b is a massive super-earth ice world in close orbit to Gliese 1214, 47 light years from Earth. "Gliese" has a arctic feel with a smoother topography.

Upcoming[edit | edit source]

As the devs commented in their #2 AMA on SubReddit, they are developing a new planet.[1] They are not sure whether it will resemble real-life planets, but they said that there will be lava, making environmental hazards possible in Robocraft.
