Overview[edit | edit source]

The tall mountain in the middle acts a challenge for ground vehicles. But it is also a great spot for Rail Cannons and planes. There is a fully enclosed cave at the left of the map. Often the teams will clash in the middle and the sides evenly. Beware of the ice, movement is extremely restricted when on it.

Strategies[edit | edit source]

This planet is very tricky because of its landscape. You need to have a good strategy going in, in order to be successful (even though maps are randomly picked).

Attacking[edit | edit source]

The best strategy for attacking is to avoid the ice at all costs if you are on a land vehicle. The ice will provide very limited traction for wheeled vehicle or a tank, stranding them until they slide off the ice. So while you're on the ice you are open to enemy fire from every angle. If you are a helicopter or a plane, try to fly up high. Enemies will have a limited view of you.

If one is caught bogged down in a battle in the cave in the upper right hand corner, consider sending a flanking crew around the side of your opponent, the high walls will prevent them from being discovered until they have already opened fire on the enemy

Defending[edit | edit source]

One strategy to defend is to wait inside of the cave at the side of the map for enemies to come through. When they do you can quickly shoot them in the cave and then run out if something goes wrong.

Sending rail units onto the mountain may give your land vehicles protection from air units, but you may want to send SMG units to guard the rail walkers from enemy units that may already be on the mountain.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • The glaciers are dupes of those found on Ice Lake, and share their misaligned hitboxes.
  • There's a hovering boulder next to a cliff on the nothern center of the map. What it really is and what it wants remains a mystery.
  • It's possible to fall through the roof of the cavern under the right circumstances.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Gliese of refereed in game code and planet Neptune.
